ECB bans Pakistani players

England Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the Pakistan team’s tour of England and imposed a travel ban on players who tested positive for the Corona Test. ECB said that the Corona-affected players will not be able to enter England on June 28. He said the Pakistan team would arrive in the UK on June 28 and the Pakistani squad would remain in quarantine for 14 days at Black Finch Neurod Worcester.

Corona sufferers include Mohammad Hafeez, Fakhr Zaman, Kashif Bhatti, Imran Khan, Mohammad Hasnain, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali.

According to the ECB, the Pakistani cricket team will leave for Derbyshire on July 13 to prepare for the first Test match.ECB said that Pakistan squad will also play 2 internal four day practice matches in Derbyshire.

ECB said that Pakistan team will play 3 Tests and 3 T20 matches during the tour of England, the final schedule of which will be announced soon.It may be recalled that the players selected for the tour of England by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were tested for corona, out of which ten cricketers reported positive.
